The Royal Exchange

The Royal Exchange is one of the City’s great landmarks. Originally built in 1565 and christened the Royal Exchange by Queen Elizabeth, this historic Grade 1 listed building is now home to a range of luxury shops and the Conran Grand Café & Bar. As a commercial retail centre in the heart of the City, the signage package required clear effective information to attract visitors, while complementing the historic architecture. Working with architects Fitzroy Robinson, DMA Signs developed a range of signs comprising of cast bronze plates, iron works, large format digital images, built-up polished stainless steel letters and glass manifestation throughout.

As part of the package DMA Signs also project managed the essential administration and negotiated planning applications for the works on the Grade 1 listed building.
